I made ghost shaped Pizza for our last Halloween party and everybody loved them!
You can either make one large Ghost Pizza or smaller ones so that you don't waste dough. I have added instructions for both.

TL;DR
The ghost pizza is simply a pizza crust cut out and shaped into a comical ghost.
I have made skull mushroom pizza bites for our previous Halloween get-togethers, and ghost pizza bites were my second serving option.
The overview explains how to make one large pizza ghost, and smaller pizza ghosts.
I like to not end up with a lot of cut out pizza dough to waste, and therefore I show you how to avoid food waste creatively too.

Ingredients
- Refrigerated Rectangular Pizza Crust — Such as the all-purpose Pillsbury pizza crust or a homemade from scratch version can be used as well.
- Tomato Sauce — Unflavored.
- Salt
- Pizza Seasoning
- Shredded Cheese — I like to use Mozzarella shredded cheese or pizza cheese blend.
- Tomato Slices — A set of colorful cocktail or cherry tomatoes. These are then sliced to create eyes. For the large pizza ghost mouth, use a normal-sized tomato slice cut into two. Yellow, black and red tomato varieties add color to your ghost eyes and mouths.
How to make it?
Step 1
Place the pizza crust on a parchment lined baking tray.
Cut out the ghost or ghosts with a knife.

Step 2
Top the ghost-shaped with crust with tomato sauce, salt, pizza seasoning and shredded cheese.

Step 3
Place tomato slices for the ghost's eyes and mouth.

Step 4
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven until golden.

Tips
- If you don't have a pizza crust in your fridge, try my instant last-minute pizza crust.
- You are free to prepare your ghost pizza with a classic homemade pizza dough.
- Smaller ghosts can be cut out with a ghost shaped cookie cutter, too.
- You don't have to waste the dough. Just form the leftovers back into a ball and roll it out into a smaller pizza dough to make more Halloween pizza bites.
- You can use olive, onion, or salami slices too for the eyes and mouth.
- Get creative and try using different topping and have fun creating different ghost shapes. Think 4 eyed ghosts or ghosts with legs.
- You can follow a theme, such as a Scooby-Doo, Ghostbuster, Casper, or a Pac-Man ghost theme.
No-Waste Pizza Ghost Cuts
To not waste pizza dough, cut different types of ghosts close to each other. This will minimize pizza crust leftovers.
