I absolutely LOVE little meat party bites on skewers. I'm not alone, family and friends can't get enough of these sausage and meatball cocktail foods.

Easy to prepare, irresistible and visually stunning, you get to pamper your guests by serving these fun appetizer skewers with a dipping sauce of your choice.
Ingredient Notes
- Meatballs — Your favorite meatballs. I used ground beef and pork meatballs, but you can use chicken meatballs too or just plain beef meatballs.
- Cocktail Sausages
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Cheese Cubes — I like Edam and Gouda cheese cubes.
- Oil — to briefly fry the meatballs and sausages.
Process Overview
Step 1
Cut meatballs into two.
Step 2
Heat the skillet with the oil.
Fry meatball halves and sausages until cooked through and crisp brownish.
Step 3
Assemble your skewers. Each skewer pick gets a sausage or meatball half, a cheese cube and a cherry tomato.
Serve up your skewers with a sauce.

Serving
These are great cocktail party appetizers. For example, served as New Year's bites or at special events such as a vernissage.
I'd also serve them up on a game day or similar.
My sausage and meatball skewers in the pictures were served with a Mayocue sauce (will post this soon).
You can serve them with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, mayonnaise, or another combo dipping sauce.
Here are some of my favorite combination sauces that you prepare within minutes from scratch:
Storing
Leftovers can be stores in an airtight container in your fridge. I use rectangular glass containers (like the ones from IKEA) to store them.
You can take the skewers apart so that you can reheat the meats in case of leftovers. The tomato and cheese do not need to be reheated.
