    • Cocktail Sausages
    • Cherry Tomatoes
    • Cheese Cubes — I like Edam and Gouda cheese cubes.
    • Oil — to briefly fry the meatballs and sausages.

    Ingredients

    • 6 Meatballs
    • 2 Teaspoon Oil
    • 18 Cheese Cubes
    • 18 Cherry Tomatoes
    • 6 Cocktail Sausages

    Instructions

    • Cut the raw meatballs in half.
      6 Meatballs
    • Heat up your skillet with oil and keep it over a medium-high heat setting.
      2 Teaspoon Oil
    • Place the meatball halves and sausages into the pan and fry them on all sides. Keep an eye on them, as you have to turn them around. Both the sausages and meatballs cook through fast.
      6 Meatballs, 6 Cocktail Sausages
    • Once the meats are cooked, take them out of the pan to cool a bit.
    • Keep all the ingredients ready. To assemble the skewers, take a skewer in your hand and poke through a meatball half, then a cheese cube and at last a cherry tomato. Repeat the same process with the sausages instead of the meatballs.
6 Meatballs, 18 Cheese Cubes, 6 Cocktail Sausages, 18 Cherry Tomatoes
    • Place them on a serving tray and serve them ups straight away. They taste best when still a bit warm.

    Equipment

    • 18 Party Appetizer Picks or Toothpicks I recommend steel picks so that you can wash and reuse.
    • Stainless Steal Non-Stick PFOA-free Frying Pan to cook the sausages and meatballs
    • Cutting Board
    • 8" Chef Knife

    Serving

These are great cocktail party appetizers. For example, served as New Year's bites or at special events such as a vernissage.

I'd also serve them up on a game day or similar.

My sausage and meatball skewers in the pictures were served with a Mayocue sauce (will post this soon).

dip meatball party skewer in your favorite sauce

You can serve them with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, mayonnaise, or another combo dipping sauce.

Here are some of my favorite combination sauces that you prepare within minutes from scratch:

    • Curry Ketchup
    • Yum Yum Dipping Sauce
    • Spicy Sriracha Mayonnaise
    • Spicy Mayochup

    Storing

Leftovers can be stores in an airtight container in your fridge. I use rectangular glass containers (like the ones from IKEA) to store them.

You can take the skewers apart so that you can reheat the meats in case of leftovers. The tomato and cheese do not need to be reheated.
