Crêpes in France are thin, large delicate pancakes that are either filled with a sweet or savory filling.
Many variations exist across the country, and the French traditionally prepare crêpes on fat Tuesday to mark the end of the Carnival season.

If you ever get a change to wander around French towns, you will encounter a place known as a Crêperie. These food places, or food stands, specialize in filled crêpes, and you get to watch them prepare your crêpes right in front of your eyes.
But crêpes have a tradition in other countries in Europe, and former colonies as well. Therefore, I have compiled a selection of great crêpes recipes so that you can try various French crêpes, which you otherwise wouldn't.
