I came across this gorgeous colored carrot apple ginger juice in Goa. It’s a basic freshly prepared juice in the Indian subcontinent, in fact you will find it in most juice bars and beach shaks in Goa.
Especially health conscious places, along the coastline in Bardez district and down South Goa around Palolem and Agonda beach, tend to feature the carrot apple juice in their menu.
This orange shaded juice comes close to the ABC Juice (Apple Beetroot Carrot), however the ginger is the key difference.

Carrot Apple Ginger Juice how to below:
- 4 Carrot (500 grams or 3 cups and ⅓)
- 3 medium sized Apple
- 1 inch fresh Ginger root
- sugar/honey/stevia optional
- Rinse the carrot, apple and remove all the dirt form the ginger root. Peel the carrot, apple and ginger (you don't have to peel the apple if it wasn't treated with insecticides).
- Cut and discard the end of the carrots, Half, quarter and cut out the apple core.
- Cut the carrot and apple into small chunks. Press through the juicer kitchen appliance and the ginger too.
- You can add sugar to the juice if you wish (or maybe honey/stevia?), I usually don't do that but I add maybe 100 milliliter water to stretch the juice out.
- Best enjoyed cooled.
