Momos will always remind me of my first steps in India because they are a favorite delicacy in so many food joints in India, that you just can't miss them.

I saw them in North India but fell in love with Momos in Goa.

The Momo dough is super thin and a bit elastic when steamed.

The warm filling is soft and melts in your mouth with each bite and the flavors incorporate so well each time again and again.

Fried tibetan dumplings remind us that these dumplings can have a golden crispy outside, which I tend to enjoy when I felt more like snacking then having dinner.

The Momo dumpling filling can vary from Veg to prawn to chicken to meat mince.

The variations are endless and recently I had even come across sweet Momo versions.

The original Momos in Tibet, Nepal and North India tend to be filled with Yak meat, which is a filling I am still looking forward to try one day!

Either way Momos should be a trend in the western world by now and in fact I believe they will be one day, most probably you will share them with your family and friends once they get to choose their own favorite filling.

That is why I found it to be a necessity to post a roundup/collection of momos recipe, since I found myself looking out for more ideas a while back.

Food blogger friends created some amazing recipes which you should check out!
