Bright citrusy orange aromas make this flavored water one of my favorites. You can now also simply infuse your boring water with some zing. Here is how!
Clean the orange from dirt and possible unknown pesticides. Place the orange in a bowl and cover with fresh water.
Water
Add vinegar or citric acid to the water and mix it in.
1 Teaspoon Vinegar
Leave orange to soak for a minute or two. Brush the orange with a soft bristle vegetable brush in the acid water to get rid of dirt and leftover pesticides.
For the Infused Water
Cut off the orange ends. Cut the orange into quarters and then into thick slices.
1 Orange
Place orange slices into a clean bottle. Top up with water.
1 quart Water
Place your bottle into the fridge and leave to infuse.
You can start drinking your water after 2 hours, but the longer you leave it to infuse in a day, the better.
You have the option to serve your orange infused water with ice cubes as a cool summer drink.

Notes
Nutrition points are calculated with the orange slices. That means that's the nutrition info if you intend to eat your orange slices after they are done infusing waters. The infused water itself, is 0 calories.
