Peel your ginger and slice into rough pieces. Keep aside.
2 Inches Ginger
Cut off the green top of your pineapple and the outer skin. You can leave the core. Cut out the core if it's fibrous. Cut the pineapple into chunks.
1 Medium Pineapple
Place the pineapple, ginger slices, water sugar and pinch of ground cardamom into a blender jar.
2 Inches Ginger, 1 Medium Pineapple, 1-2 Tablespoons Sugar, pinch Green Cardamom Ground, 1 Cup Water
Blend smooth.
Strain the juice by keeping a fine mesh-strainer over a bowl and pour the blended juice into the bowl. The strained juice will fall into the bowl, help along with a silicone spatula or tablespoon and move around in circular motion so that the juice gets strained through faster. Repeat the process until all juice is strained, and discard any fibrous fruit parts.
Skim off the foam, and pour fresh pineapple juice into a glass, with or without ice, and enjoy cooled.
