Rinse your strawberries and cut off bad parts if any. Remove green crown.
3 cups Strawberries
Cut strawberries into quarters.
Place strawberries into a mixing bowl and add lemon juice and black pepper.
3 cups Strawberries, ⅛ Teaspoon Black Pepper Ground, ⅛ cup Lemon Juice
With a fork, mash the strawberries to the desired smoothness. It can be a bit chunky too.
Keep strawberries to marinate. I keep them for 1 hour, but you can use them directly too. It just tastes better marinated.
Prepare whipped cream. Place whipping cream, sugar, and a few drops of vanilla extract into a mixing bowl.
16 Tablespoon Heavy Cream, 3 Tablespoon Powdered Sugar, few drops Vanilla Extract
With a hand mixer or whisk, whisk your whipping cream to a stiff whipped cream.*see Notes
Place some mashed strawberry into a serving glass or bowl. Layer with the whipped cream and repeat the process again. Finish with a layer of cream and some strawberry poured over it.
Garnish with a fresh strawberry and/or a fresh mint leave.
To whip cream stiff, use cold whipping cream and a cold metal mixing bowl. Your whipping cream should contain at least 30% fat. You may use a whipping cream stabilizer powder too to help you whip your cream.
