Pretty marzipan covered chocolates to gift your loved one! Make these marzipan covered chocolate yours and get creative. Read up some decoration ideas in the post. I did not add specific ingredient quantities because I do not want to limit yourself and it wasn't necessary.
Roll your marzipan paste into a sausage and cut out bite-sized pieces.
Form each piece into a round ball by rolling each between your hand palms.
Keep your double boiler ready on the heat. Place the chocolate into the double boiler to melt. It will take some time to melt completely.
At this point, you can choose to color your white chocolate or leave it white or melt another batch of chocolate to color differently again. I don't mix in the color completely with the spatula, because I wanted to create an effect on some of my chocolate marzipan balls.
Poke a toothpick into one of the marzipan balls and drag it through the chocolate so that it is completely covered.
Place the chocolate ball on the rack or tray to dry. If you want to use sprinkles, then this is the moment to do so before the chocolate dries out.
Repeat the process with all balls. Add more color and mix if you like for deeper shades.
Let the chocolate marzipans to dry in a cool and dry place for about 30 minutes.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container.

Notes
Create a double boiler at home with what you have. Get a small pot, fill it with some water and place a glass bowl over that. Use a glass bowl because you can see the water that way. The bowl should be touching the water but should not flow over to the sides when you heat it up. Don't overcook the water or it will come splashing out. Control the heat.
Use a rack or a baking tray to place the chocolate dipped marzipan balls. I prefer the rack because the excess chocolate will drip down and the balls will appear more round. Also, it's easier to remove the chocolate covered marzipan candy from the toothpick when you use a rack. But keep in mind that excess chocolate can go around the rack and then taking them out can get messy.
Use quality chocolate and food coloring or the chocolate will turn out thick and funky. Also, don't overheat your chocolate, it will change its texture and get thicker in time. You want a nice smooth liquidy chocolate.
